FINANCIAL REPORTING AUTOMATION

AMP Financial Services required extensibility and maintenance of an existing Fund Manager solution.

In depth discovery was followed by enhancements to the Reporting Tools and workflow automation.

This project demonstrates Excels ability to automate reporting within a multi-connected landscpae with various EDI technoligies.

MAINTENANCE SCHEDULING AND OPTIMISATION TOOL
Excel, VBA, EDI

Excel was used as an add-on tool for SIMPRO so that sales and data analysis staff can schedule and optimise asset maintenance schedules and pricing. The tool allows for data exception reporting and optimisation across clients, asset classes and the business as a whole. Interacting with SIMPRO via simple CSVs EDI the tool provides a rapid development environment that allows time saving routines to be executed outside the business core software platform and uploaded as new data sets.​

This project demonstrates the power of Excels to operate in conjunction with other business software and deliver extended functionality in a time effective manner.

CLAIM ANALYSIS REPORTING TOOL
SQL DB Connectivity, VBA, Financials

NZI required an Enterprise App for collecting and analysing claims data.

 

Collecting claims analysis data via a web app (.NET + MS SQL) we created a set of management dashboards highlighting the common data trends and outliers. Additionally, the data could connected to Excel, could then be further analysed by staff due to Excels familiar interface and staff skillsets. 

​

This project demonstrates Excels ability to act as a user familiar analysis tool where doing so within custom software or ERP systems would not be time or cost-effective.
